Fall Rockfish Bite

Please Join the Annapolis Anglers Club (AAC) meeting on Wednesday November 20th, 7PM at the American Legion Post 7 on Crownsville Road in Annapolis. November's featured speaker is Lenny Rudow, FishTalk Magazine's Angler in Chief! Lenny is a well-known and highly regarded recreational angler who will provide insights on the Fall rockfish bite and changing patterns of the favorite fish of Chesapeake Bay anglers. Lenny will also cover the recent invasion of puppy drum (redfish) in our area, how to successfully target this relatively new species, and the relationship between the arrival of the puppies and the changing pattern of rockfish. His presentation will include show and tell, be interactive with attendees, and include some very cool giveaways!

Annapolis Anglers Club meetings are free and open to anyone who wishes to

attend. At each meeting there are food options, beverages, and a raffle with

valuable prizes for all attendees. Please join us on November 20th!

GOT A FISHING STORY?

Club President Kevin McMenamin likes to start our member meetings by asking if anyone has a fishing story.  So, have you been out recently?  Where have you tried your luck? (You don’t have to give your secret spots.) What were you trying to catch? What have you caught?  What lures have you tried? What lure(s) was successful? No one is put on the spot. Just look at it as helping to educate your fellow anglers. So if you have a fishing story, we look forward to hearing your fishing story.

Annapolis Anglers Club meetings are open to the public. Spouses and children are welcome to attend. There will be drawings for table prizes and a 50/50 raffle. Tickets for the table prizes and the 50/50 drawing are $5 each. Food and drinks are available at very reasonable prices from the
American Legion Post kitchen. Arrive early, have dinner, and get your prize and raffle tickets. Meetings are held at the American Legion Post 7, 1905 Crownsville Rd, Annapolis MD 21401. The meeting starts at 7p.m.
