Please join the Annapolis Anglers Club (AAC) meeting on Wednesday, April 16th, 7 PM at the American Legion Post 7 on Crownsville Road in Annapolis.
April’s featured speaker is:
Elle Bassett, Riverkeeper for the Arundel Rivers Federation. As Riverkeeper for the South, West, and Rhode Rivers, Ms. Bassett is responsible for patrolling local waterways, tracking down sources of pollution, responding to citizen pollution complaints, identifying problems that impact water quality, and advocating for laws and regulations to ensure clean water. Arundel Rivers Federation is a member organization of the Waterkeepers Chesapeake, which includes the Severn Riverkeeper. Ms. Bassett will discuss her role as Riverkeeper, local water quality, threats to our waterways, and how individuals and organizations can help implement solutions to directly improve water quality and aquatic habitats. Fishing clubs and their members can help Riverkeepers improve water quality, leading to improved fishing opportunities.
Will also have up-to-date fishing reports from AAC members!
Annapolis Anglers Club meetings are free and open to anyone who wishes to attend. At each meeting, there are food options, beverages, and a raffle with valuable prizes for
