Catch More Fish By Fully Utilizing On-Board Electronics

Please join the Annapolis Anglers Club on Wednesday, May 15th, 7 PM meeting at the American Legion Post 7 on Crownsville Road in Annapolis, MD. The meeting's featured speaker is Captain Travis Long of Schooled Up Fishing Charters. Captain Travis has been fishing the Chesapeake Bay his entire life, a tradition passed down from his father. His knowledge and skill at delivering a unique light tackle fishing experience for his clients is unparalleled. Captain Travis will relate his custom approach to helping experienced and non-experienced anglers enjoy a special day on the Bay and will discuss how to find and catch more fish by fully utilizing on-board electronics.  His presentation will be especially timely just before opening day of the 2024 Maryland rockfish season. Annapolis Anglers Club meetings are free and open to anyone who wishes to attend. At each meeting there are food options, beverages, and a raffle with valuable prizes for all attendees. Please join us on May 15th!

GOT A FISHING STORY?

Club President Kevin McMenamin likes to start our member meetings by asking if anyone has a fishing story.  So, have you been out recently?  Where have you tried your luck? (You don’t have to give your secret spots.) What were you trying to catch? What have you caught?  What lures have you tried? What lure(s) was successful? No one is put on the spot. Just look at it as helping to educate your fellow anglers. So if you have a fishing story, we look forward to hearing your fishing story.

Annapolis Anglers Club meetings are open to the public. Spouses and children are welcome to attend. There will be drawings for table prizes and a 50/50 raffle. Tickets for the table prizes and the 50/50 drawing are $5 each. Food and drinks are available at very reasonable prices from the
American Legion Post kitchen. Arrive early, have dinner, and get your prize and raffle tickets. Meetings are held at the American Legion Post 7, 1905 Crownsville Rd, Annapolis MD 21401. The meeting starts at 7p.m.
